On November 12, 2025, Snow College held the blood drive for both students and community
members. The blood drive took place in the Noyes Building, Founder's Hall, and started at 9:00
am.
Students and community members were asked to fill out a fast pass, which was a
waiver with a lot of questions asking about their medical background. Once this was
completed, they would be called to a table, where their blood pressure and blood would
be tested. This is a simple procedure that tells them if blood can be donated.
Once the blood was checked and safe to take, they would start taking the blood. It
lasted only a few minutes to get everything they needed, then the students and other
community members could leave. However, some people did experience dizziness and
lightheadedness, where they would have to lie down, be given a juice box or snack, and
have a wet rag on their head.
Many people who donated blood had a good experience,
while some did not. This event is done every year, and many
students and community members participate in it.

Seeing such a strong emphasis on community support reminds me of the collaborative spirit I needed during my final year of university. I remember feeling completely stuck with my research drafts until I worked with an academic editing service uk to help bring structure and clarity to my complex ideas. It is truly wonderful how having the right professional guidance can turn a daunting academic challenge into a polished success.
