“She just made everybody feel wonderful.” Donna Birk, a colleague at Snow College, says in remembrance of Lynsi Wade, who passed away September 30, 2025, in a car accident. When you walked into the President’s Office Suite at Snow College, she was often the first face you saw. She worked as an administrative assistant, working closely with the President's Leadership Team (PLT).  Her role required a calm, organized, and caring person, which are qualities that as colleague Marci Larsen, chief of staff, shared, “came naturally to her.”

Lynsi was known across campus for her ability to brighten people's day with floral arrangements. Often surprising colleagues and friends with bouquets she arranged herself. Many of the blooms came from her own garden, which even included a Snow College-themed bed featuring orange and blue flowers. Larsen went on to say, “Her flowers were her signature mark, oftentimes leaving a thoughtful card.”

Her influence extended farther than her colleges. She worked closely with the President’s Leadership Team and often shared a workspace with them. She had the ability to connect with students on a personal level, offering not only guidance but also encouragement and genuine care. “She was like a second mom to them.” Larsen added, students learned from her quiet example. Emmy, a former student of Snow College, said, “I so proudly look up to her; she had such charity and such pure love for everyone around her.” Her charity and love extended beyond just those she worked with.

“She had a quiet way of doing good. We will miss her, there is a hole here, our office will miss her calming kind presence” said her colleagues, along with the rest of the school and those who knew her. Lynsi’s light continues to shine in the lives of those she touched. She will be forever remembered with love.
