President McIff Hosts Student Leadership Dinner

To kick off the 2026-2027 school year, student leadership teams from both Ephraim

and Richfield campuses, gathered for dinner with President McIff.

This dinner was a way for all the leadership teams to get to know each other and

come together to start off the semester. “The students are why Snow College exists,” says

Marci Larsen. Marci is the Chief of Staff at Snow College and works in the President’s

office. She mentioned how “the best part of our job is when we get to spend time with

students.”

President McIff expressed her gratitude and love for all the students at Snow

College. She also expressed the excitement she has for this school year and the

importance of supporting students. President McIff shared about her time she had in

leadership when she was a college student and how much it means to her.

The student groups also got to hear from the Student Body President, Talon

Rasmussen. Each leadership has their different responsibilities but “this was a good

opportunity to realize that we are all part of the same team and all trying to accomplish the

same things,” says Talon Rasmussen. He then expressed his excitement for the school

year and being able to work with each team.

The leadership teams here at Snow College consist of the Student Body Officers,

Peer Mentors, Alumni Council, President’s Leadership Team, Ambassadors, and Wellness

Advocates. All these groups are on campus to support the students that attend Snow

College and help them have positive experience.

These teams can help inform students on school activities, be a listening ear, give

tours around the campus, and help others feel like they belong. So, with the reminder that

“the students are why Snow College exists,” the leadership teams are ready to start the

school year working together to make it a positive experience for the rest of the student

body.

opportunities to get involved, attend activities, and be a part of the Snow College

Community
