Three seasons into his coaching career at Snow College, head Coach Andrew May and his team have dominated their way to a Region 18 and Scenic West Athletic Conference (SWAC) regular season title.

With a 83-73 win over Utah State Eastern in Price on Thursday February 13, The Badgers clinched the SWAC title with four games left to play in the regular season. The last time Snow won the region 18 regular season title was back in the 2020-2021 season.

“I’ve won championships before at BYU, at Salt Lake Community College, at Utah Tech of different kinds and this one was probably the most unique I’ve had.” Coach May stated.

Isaac Garret led Snow College in the win over the Eagles with 23 points and 12 rebounds to finish with his fourth career double-double. Garret scored the last 8 points of the game for the Badgers and was named SWAC player of the week.

The players may not be as excited about winning the regular season title as some might think. “When I came into the locker room after… I’m all jacked up a little bit and they are like yea sweet. And I was okay, cool, great job, I mean they for sure feel like the proud feeling for doing it, But they also have worked so hard.”  Said Coach Andrew May on how the players felt after the win.

The Badgers are on a historic 18-game winning streak which ties the longest streak in program history. A record that has stood for close to 50 years dating back to 1977-78. However, that’s not the only record the Badgers are on the verge of breaking

Coach May’s team is two wins away from breaking the program record for the most wins in a season at 26. Reaching the 26-game win mark has happened three times in school history with the latest coming in the 2021-2022 season with a final record of 26-8. That was also the last time Snow College made the national tournament.

Coach May’s team is now 25-1 on the season, 11-0 in conference play, 12-0 in road games, 8-0 at home and 5-1 on neutral site games. This season’s performance has awarded the Badgers the top-ranked spot in the country, sitting at No. 1 in the national rankings since December 16, 2024. The Badgers are cementing themselves as one of the best teams in Snow College history.

The Badgers will conclude their historic regular season at home with a pair of games starting on February 27, against North Idaho at 7pm, and Saturday, March 1, against College of Southern Idaho at 3pm.

The team will then host the conference tournament on Friday and Saturday March 7 and 8, times are TBD.
