Tracie Bradley, a retired professor of quilting, came to the newly repainted Home and Family building and donated a quilt she made while previously working at Snow College. Department Chair, Katie Justesen, said “ Tracie offered to donate this quilt as a reminder of the values we uphold in our department--family, skills, and home. We would like to thank Tracie for the generous donation of this quilt. It will add color, texture, and authenticity to the walls of our building.”

Bradley said “I have always had an interest in and love of fabric, of how it brings color, pattern, texture, and warmth into our homes and our lives. For over 30 years I was privileged to share my love of all things related to home and family as a member of the dedicated faculty of Snow College.”

The quilt was made out of reproduction fabrics from the Civil War area. The pattern used was the popular house pattern. Bradley said she chose this pattern because she believes that it was able to express the familiar warmth and comfort that comes from home and family.
