Snow College is a great start, but where should students go after they graduate?

There are several dozen options in Utah alone. Each of these schools can give students a unique experience and the education they are looking for.

The two most well-known schools in Utah, Brigham Young University and the University of Utah, are both known for their school spirit and football rivalry.

The University of Utah’s mascot is the Red Tail Hawk, and they are often known as the Utes. The U of U medical program is considered one of the best in the state. The school owns five hospitals and many other health centers. They also own the only academic center in Utah.

BYU’s mascot, Cosmo the Cougar, is popular for dancing with the Cougerettes, but their academics are also well-known around the state. Lillian Smith, a BYU student, says “My favorite part of going to BYU is the location, there’s tons of mountain biking, climbing, hiking, and other outdoor activities close to campus.”

Utah Valley University is a community college that still has a lot of great opportunities that the bigger schools might offer. According to Stella De Campos, a student at UVU, “It’s worth your money and big enough that you can still get the ideal college experience.” The class sizes are smaller than average and focused on real world experiences.

Southern Utah University also has smaller class sizes, which can lead to more personalized learning experience. SUU is considered one of the more affordable schools in Utah. Since it is in Cedar there are plenty of national parks and unique views nearby.

Utah State University is the oldest residential campus in Utah. USU is a research-based school and is among the highest level of research-based institutions in America.

These are only a few out of dozens of options in Utah. Out of state there are even more. Transcripts from Snow College are easy to transfer anywhere, so have a pick!
