Student life can be hectic with midterms, coursework, family, and friends. It’s challenging to stay informed and engaged, which is where the Snowdrift comes in. Established in 1928, Snowdrift has been the go-to news source for students wanting to keep up with activities and policy changes at Snow College.

The newspaper production class and club offer numerous opportunities to learn how to edit, format, and gain hands-on experience in journalism while amplifying student’s voices.

Ash Powers, one of the Snowdrift's editors and writers, stated, “The Snowdrift is a fun, inclusive place that gives me creative freedom and a sense of belonging."

If someone is interested in contributing or simply reading, Snowdrift welcomes all kinds of support—be it through submitting Campus Candids or participating in events like movie nights.

Students can also visit during production nights to see how news is made while enjoying a meal, creating lasting memories, and developing skills that will benefit a person in any career.

The Snowdrift invites all students to join this vibrant community where they can explore interests, develop new talents, and forge lasting connections. Whether students are passionate about writing, photography, design, or just want to stay informed, Snowdrift has something for everyone.
